Sitall CO-115M (ASTROSITALL^TM) - order options?

Optical Sitall SO-115M (ASTROSITALL^TM) is usually supplied either in the form of block ingots, either in the form of “ingotss with radii” (radius values are determined by the customer), or in the form of free-form parts according to the customer’s drawings (often such parts have holes, cavities of complex configuration, etc.).

Block ingots - can have a length (diameter) of 50-3000 mm, width (diameter) of 50-3000 mm, thickness of 15-350 mm. Such ingots can be both unpolished and polished to transparency (usually on one side). The price of such ingots is mainly determined cost of material.

"Ingots with radii" - can be either large (the same dimensions as block ingots) or small (for example, diameter 50 mm and thickness 5 mm). Such ingots can have high dimensional accuracy, chamfers of specified dimensions, specified roughness of non-working surfaces, etc. Typically, such ingots are polished on at least one side. The price of such ingots can be significantly influenced by the cost of the material (especially if the requirements for its quality are very high, and the dimensions of the workpiece are medium or large), and vice versa, the cost of processing (for example, if the ingot has small dimensions, and the manufacturing error of the radii is required to be very small).

Parts of arbitrary shape - usually have small or medium sizes (up to 300-400 mm). Such parts are manufactured on special multi-axis high-precision machines, different chemical reactions can be used for polishing or additional processing. The cost of such parts is mainly determined by the cost of their manufacture, and not by the price of the material from which they are made.

**ZERO EXTRA grade quality - there are not defects with linear size > 200 micrometers for 1 kg of material.
***ZERO grade qualty - this is less than 5 bubbles, inclusions or streaks per 1 kg of material acceptablr. The defect to be taken into account must have linear size more than 200 micrometers. Defects larger than 1 mm are unacceptable in this class.
